With high ceilings, arched windows, and a striking painting by Caio Fonseca, Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell’s Manhattan living room is as stylish and lively as the world portrayed in her books. A Louis XVI sofa purchased from Christie’s in the ’80s, a 19th-century tufted settee, and Moroccan poufs from John Derian Co. make an eclectic seating arrangement. The room is ready for entertaining with a bar and a mini fridge–stocked with champagne–tucked in a cabinet in a corner.
